About Us

Hi I am Steph and my journey started 4 years ago after a risk reducing double mastectomy. With time off work recovering I started thinking of different ways I could help people battling cancer in memory of my mum, who sadly lost her fight.

After having my son I combined my love of fashion and shopping with my desire to help others and formed FREDS. CIC, an apparel brand dedicated to gifting a hat to every child and young person battling Cancer.

Having watched my mum battle Cancer for a number of years and meeting other people during our times at the hospital, I recognised not only the impact Cancer has on individuals dealing with the difficult side effect of hair loss but also the financial implications. Every year almost 4,500 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer and statistics show that families can be, on average, £570 a month worse off, with travelling costs, rise in heating bills and loss of income.

We are dedicated to brightening the day of Children with Cancer through our Look Good Do Good Events at Hospitals around the Country.
